That was an awesome game! Congrats to both Ravenclaw and Slytherin for an amazing match, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I hope our match against Gryffindor will be just as action-packed!

It's...I just need to talk to someone about this. Can you meet me in the courtyard in fifteen?

...Yes, of course. I'll be there.

Thanks. It means a lot to me.

[When she arrives, Xion will find Roxas sitting on one of the benches in the courtyard, knees drawn up to his chest and a piece of parchment in one hand as he stares off into space.]

Action!

[whoeverlooks]

[She notices the parchment first and almost asks about it, but decides not to. Something tells her that it might have something to do with why he called her out.]

...Roxas?

Action!

[thirteenlights]

[He gives her a smile, though she's probably known him long enough to know that it's fake.]

Hey. Hope I didn't interrupt anything.

Action!

[whoeverlooks]

[After frowning at the expression, Xion shakes her head and offers a smile before sitting down next to him.]

'Course not. Even if you were, I would have come anyway. So...what's going on?

Action!

[thirteenlights]

[When she asks that question, his gaze drops right down to the parchment in his hands. It looks worn, like it's been read dozens of times over the last however many hours.]

I got an owl from my real dad. I...I don't know how he found me but...

Action!

[whoeverlooks]

Wh-what?

[His real dad, he said. His real dad. Xion usually had to remind herself that Roxas was adopted since, of course, Xemnas and Saix were...Xemnas and Saix, but it never occurred to her that his real dad was even still around.]

What...what did he want?

Action!

[thirteenlights]

[He nods slightly, still feeling a bit numb at the idea. The piece of parchment got crumpled up in his hands before he leaned up from where he was hunched over his knees.]

He wants to meet me. Next Hogsmeade weekend.

Action!

[whoeverlooks]

...So, are you going to meet him? Do you need me to come along in case something happens?

Action!

I'm not sure. I want to, but I'm not sure what to say to him.

[He stands, stuffing the parchment into his back pocket and begins wandering the courtyard, kicking a random rock.]

Part of me wants to yell at him, part of me...[He lets out a frustrated sigh.] I don't know what to do, Xion.

Action!

[whoeverlooks]

[Xion doesn't want to do anything that might irritate him when he's talking about such a touchy subject, so she stands herself but watches his progress instead of following after.]

Roxas...I think once you meet him, you'll know what to say. Meeting your real dad for the first time isn't something you can just rehearse. If I were in your position, I wouldn't know what to say to him either...but I would have a lot of questions.

Action!

[Oh he does have a lot of questions. Angry questions any other adopted teenager might ask their real parent. The shock of receiving the owl still hasn't gone away so that's not helping much either. Still, he pauses, scuffing a sneaker against the ground.]

You think I should give him a chance then?

Yeah. I mean, he's your dad and he wants to see you. He wouldn't have contacted you if he didn't want to see you, right?
