I think the practice match went well, all things considered. Dad seemed like he finally understood it at least when I saw him after. Pops...well, a lot of the time I can't really tell what he's thinking. I was really surprised they came either way.
Oh yeah! I was so caught up in the whole Visitor's Day thing and match that I completely forgot! The freezer charm worked! Axel knew an older wizard in town so we got him to do it. There's free sea salt ice cream for anyone who wants to try the real deal.
