Last wednesday I went to the Horse of The Year Show and watched the little children fall off their ponies lots when they were jumping, a really cool dressage display to the music from Grease, and lots of hunter shows. Oh and a side saddle show with a little old lady who looked like a crash test dummy because she was so stiff and kept bouncing up and down all funny. Half the women in the dressage display were wearing neon pink jackets and top hats. Matilda would prolly look at me in disgust if I went anywhere near her in neon pink. HOYS always has lots of shops, and at one, a lady tried to smear goat grease on my hand but I escaped, happily.
The best bit, of course, was the Grand Prix jumping. I loved the fact that the winner's horse thought that the stupid woman with the rosette was a tiger or something and kept trying to alternately gallop off or trample on her head.
