Extracted information from the pages of The Holy Ullia** of the Tree, compiled by Endris, Grand High Priest of the Rovesi. How the Conclave lost possession of this tome is unknown.

Sevrialis, The Sword
by Aurestitia of the Rovesi

Glorious is Mia, the Crystal of Radiance, wellspring of the blessed Light, heart of all worlds. May she grace this servant's hand that knowledge and, if Light will it, wisdom also may pass unhindered, a humble gift from this one to another.

This servant has devoted her life to a divine mission, handed down by Asema, First Servant of Mia. She has given the greater half of her years seeking, poring through the annals of the Grand Archives, of the endless halls of Libria, scouring through the ancient places where history was made for what small knowledge there remains of Sevrialis, fourth of the known Ullia, and by far the most elusive. [One hundred and eighty years] given in tribute to this endeavor, to chart its history, as far as it can be known.

The Blade, called the Seventh by those who have [experientially known] it, has come into our beloved Conclave's care but twice in its boundless history. Regrettably, in both cases, it traveled through unnoticed, having passed by our unseeing eyes. As with the other Ullia, it takes on a mundane form, itself seeming to be nothing more than a common ensorcelled blade, most commonly in the form of a greatsword. It has also come to be seen that its physical manifestation changes with each of its incarnations; the same for its missing pieces. Sevrialis, alone, is thus indistinguishable from any magical sword by all outward appearances.

What is known about this, the most overtly destructive of the known Ullia, is that it is ever unwhole- when incarnated, it is broken, made whole only in the moments before its remanifestation. Similar, somewhat, to the Cube, it is a puzzle, an undecipherable enigma. The answer at the end of its riddle cannot be arrived at by reason or thought; it is an experience, something that must be lived through. What may this riddle be?

Being that these objects are Ullia of the Tree, of existence itself, a part of and apart from it, we are left to ponder is what, precisely, Sevrialis is intended to represent. There are countless thoughts on the subject [...]

[The paper continues on to discuss potential meanings of The Blade, gathered from the histories of worlds where Sevrialis has surfaced, none fully verifiable.]

**: Ullia is the original word used in the High Speech; it is difficult to translate, best described as a mixture of incarnation, expression, and sentiment. Associated closely with the Conclave ideal of art. Most Conclave artwork is considered a form of Ullia, an expression that is unforced and spontaneous, its aesthetic arrangement coming from the 'refraction' of thought and memory through an empty, tranquil mind.
