Gah. Gah. I love Eleven already. And I love Amelia (Amy? Amelia.) too. Usually it takes a companion a bit to grow on me, but nope, not this time. She is like the best bits of Donna and Rose and Wilf all mashed together. I KNEW policewomen (police officers!) did not wear backseam stockings and little shortie shorts.
Equal parts scary and hilarious, which are my favorite ways for Who to be. I think Moff was going to special effort to make it all quoteable and catchphrasey, but damn, it worked! :D
I will admit I basically sobbed when Nine and Ten came up in the eyeball montage.
But OMG PREVIEWS. I nearly wee'd myself. Barrage balloons over London! Or are those zeppelins? Either way some WWII action is YAY. (Yes, this is partially because I am hoping for Jack Harkness to turn up.) And Cybermen and Daleks and oh-fuck-those-creepy-angel-statues, oh my! AND WAS THAT THE DOCTOR SHOOTING A GUN???
My only criticism is that I'm not sure I approve of these new opening credits. Ah well. :P
