Yesterday was dinner at Spice Peranakan- one of mum & dad's favourite places to eat at. They've always wanted to bring me there (+ my mum keeps telling all the owners that I like to take photos of food, which I find redundant) & so I finally got the chance yesterday when mum brought me there with D. Daddy was out gallavanting with his RI friends. Last week he went for the HC gathering & met his old classmate there- whose son was from RJ & is my age. So I presume both dads went back to ask about each other's children (lol) & eventually a Benjamin Tay approached me on Kaishi's Facebook page asking if my dad was.. Well, my dad.
Small world. Mum's theory of how we lose touch with friends after we graduate, but as we grow old & our children grow up, we become lonely so we start to meet up again.. Seems very true.
Yum.

Today, it was a lovely day to go out..
HOR HOR. TIO SAMAN.
We ate at a Japanese place
that we really liked:
& then popped over to the nearby music school that has a cafe:
This place is pretty neat. It's a new music school with a grand piano on the outside that anyone can sit at to tinker on. On Mondays they have a live band that comes to practice.. Definitely livens up the atmosphere throughout the whole shopping centre.
We ate their Liege waffles with oreo cheesecake & blueberry cheesecake ice cream. I'm all for unique flavours. Still have yet to find someone to go to
Udders with me. Zhixuan??
