Being sick is not fun
Second day at home. But I've been to the doctor and have antibiotics and should be good for work tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
This is a completely inconvenient time for me to be off work but I'm not even bothering to try martyr through- I have a UTI and that's all the explanation anyone who's ever had one needs. There is no room left in my brain to focus on anything even close to work.
I'm using this time to work my way through the last few episodes of Fated To Love You, we've managed to get through most of the real drama and now we're in the end stages where they are just drawing it out for the ratings. There really is no reason why they don't just get together by now other than the advertisers pleading Just One More Episode. (This was an INSANELY popular show in Taiwan.)
I am also struggling through the first couple of Psy-Changeling books by Nalini Singh and finding them very hard going. I am getting IRRITATED by the ALPHA-ness of the males, who always always turn out to be right, and the cartoon-evil of the Psy-society as compared to the amazing natural awesomeness of the Changelings. SHUT UP, enough with the Nature>City, ok?
