I feel a cold coming on...
shit.
Time to gulp down 10 glasses of water and flush that shit out of me.
HI GUYS!
Ill phill is what I am tonight =( I had to cancel plans with Laura and Alex to sit and rest. Get my homework done and whatnot.
So Phill's new iPod Touch= handheld life.
This device is absolutely incredible. And my friend Tom took off the tax at the apple store for me so THANK YOU TOM!
-We wont be discussing how far this set me back but IT'S OK!-
I can go online for free with the free Wi-Fi or (wee fee) as Laura calls it. I can download music directly from iTunes onto it, I check youtube, my work e-mail, my yahoo mail, I can watch music videos...ugh I can go on and on it's absoultely gorgeous. I can actually post this entry on it, but I'm sparing my fingers =)
Moving on...
So Halloween was fun. I dressed up as the guy on youtube "MY SON IS GAY!?" It was a pretty big hit I must say. I actually had to send quite a few pics from my phone to my friends in Florida because I got them hooked on that video.
November 19th Jackie and I are going to see We the Kings/The Academy Is!!! So fucking excited to see Travis again. Hopefully if he comes out to sign autos he'll remember me I have to text Tracey and she'll let him know I'm thurr..
Next...
OBAMA YAYY!!!! It was truely incredible to see our nation at such peace with everyone in the streets when he was elected. The celebration the commotion the tears it was really moving. Seeing the rainbow flag with the peace symbol at the center was a great sight to see being waved amongst the crowds. I voted for my first time and my candidate was elected I was thrilled. I turn on the TV and I swore I thought it was New Year's Eve...I was like wtf where is the ball?
Crazines..
Let's rock this shit Obama!
So in 4 years whoever I'm living with or dating at the time...I can be happy =) And that's what made my elect go to him.
So at my job I wrote another e-mail and sent it facility wide so that everyone could read it. It's basically like spoofs that people do in their spare time and I catch them for it. Thank GOD my job has such a sense of humor or else I'd be fucking chop meat. So the director of scientific affairs comes up to me and was like, "If you make a list for Christmas about the 12 Pains of Hematology we'll post it in the newsletter."
So that's in the works currently as we type lmao. ANd of course my boss Terri was in tears. I'm so glad my coworkers are like my new home. I seriously would rather be at work than school.
Tomorrow's Thursday!! That means ICON night at Croxleys! Every Thursday night my coworkers all go have a few drinks at this bar in Fdale that used to be the downtown. Absolutely amazing these people. We're usually out til like 1am. Last week they celebrated my passing of the ASCP so I paid for not one drink. Oh being 21. The validations supervisor already suggested I get "Phill Baby" on my lab coat...definately cool, but unforch a little unprofessional.
So the menu for the week:
-Get better
-Croxleys
-Ruby Tuesdays with Cell Bio lab parterns to go celebrate our new and fast friendship =)
-Saturday out with Laura then hopefully Mulcayhey's with Chrissy.
-Sunday- Sleep until 1pm.
I got my package today of all my AE clothes!! I was so excited I bought some great outfits for the fall/winter INCLUDING (fucking finally) work khakis for my job!
Ugh...this cold. Ok well I gotta go shower and study and drink more H2O.
Peace!
