home sick

I have been feeling sicky since yesterday morning, and I left work at 3:30 after a meeting with a student to rest up. sore throat, achy body. My mother took care of me for a while by making me grilled cheese (my sick food)and giving me advil. Today I woke up feeling a little sicky but not as terrible as yesterday, but I already made it known in the office that I would likely be skipping today to rest up further. Tomorrow night I have a dinner (as always i guess) but no one else to work it, so I have to feel better by tomorrow whether I liken it or not. I've spent the day so far checking work email and chatting online, reading Herzog which I desperately need to finish already, and going between IFC and some other random channels.

It's gloomy outside, which I appreciate since I am viewing it today soley from my couch. I've consumed lots of applejuice.
