Twice Graced by Loreena McKennitt

I've been a big fan of Loreena McKennitt's music for the last fifteen years and, when I was living in Montreal, it was impossible to see her live because tickets sold out in a matter of seconds. We were fortunate enough to get floor seats to see her perform here at Massey Hall on Monday and were treated to superb music and outstanding musicianship in one of the finest-sounding concert halls in the world. As it turns out, Ms. McKennitt and her band will be returning to our fair city on June 20th to take part in a fundraising concert for the Irish Famine Memorial being built at the foot of Bathurst Street.

I am simply astounded by this and am especially content at bountiful musical and cultural graces my adopted home has been providing.
