Small event. Big day!
I got my first ever reviewer's copy of a CD this morning and it is by Porcupine Tree, a band I adore. I'm ecstatic that my first published CD review will be of this spectacular new album by a band that I truly admire.
After a first listening I can say that Fear of a Blank Planet, a concept album about a kid growing up as part of the MySpace generation is a mature progression that builds upon the band's previous two releases, Deadwing and In Absentia while referencing the best traditions of seventies' prog.
It is a must-have release for Porcupine Tree fans and I am really happy to have it in my possession at this moment.
I look forward to writing a full review.
