Moleskine Goodness (and a bit of fakery too)

I treated myself to a 3-pack of Moleskine Cahiers today. These are 64-page pocket-size notbeooks that use the same paper as the classic Moleskines but have a cardboard binding instead. Moleskines are really *really* nice. I just got Ben one for his watercolors ... can you believe they make a tiny pocket journal for watercoloring? How cool is that? :D

Yeah, they also make a sketchbook, music book, storyboard book and a Japanese folding paper book. Loomis (under its Deserres housebrand) also makes a Moleskine-style sketchbook that the Art student at the counter said he prefered to the Moleskine because the paper is thick enough for watercolours. I'm going to investigate that one tomorrow when I go to pick up a few more of these notebooks. (I'm thinking they might not take off and be discontinued so I might as well be safe and stock up).
