Hello Thirdreel!
I have a few concerns about the Buddhism Community Site of Live Journal:
1) I'm not certain, but did you start the Buddhism Community?
I ask, because if you did, it would be unfair to ask you to hand the job of moderator over to someone with more time to "mole-whack".
2) It seems to me that I remember when the Buddhism Community was a more vibrant and productive community. It certainly demonstrated potential.
Today, the community obviously appears to be stagnant and primarily overtaken by one insanely disruptive Troll, Freespeechman.
If you don't have the time to research the continually morphing moles, that is something that I would have more than enough time to do. Of course I would allow the occasional troll to enter the site and post whatever he/she likes. But I would never allow anybody offensive to come in and take over in the manner that Freespeechman has done.
If you feel that you can no longer devote the kind of time required to maintain a format of basic civil communication decorum within the Buddhism Community, I would be more than happy to assume the responsibilities of moderator.
I profoundly believe that the community would become larger, more productive, and become more cost-effective for livejournal because of advertising.
Sincerely,
Koanbred
