Working my way up the ranks.

So, after i had dropped $1,000, I decided it was time to take a serious look at my game. After doing more reading, and soaking up info about variance and how much worse it could get, i've decided to put myself through a little task.

I cashed out $1,000 more, to remain in an account, while i work $300 at the Poker Stars .50/1.00 and $1/$2 for awhile. No joke there is money to be made there, but i'll be evaluating every little aspect of my game and seeing if my personality is strong enough to last through times like these.(Those times being a 3 day losing streak, hitting maybe 1 in 25 flops with the rare good cards you get to begin with.)

I think it's an overall very responsible idea, and i've left myself enough room with that $1,000 to have at it all summer. Quite an interesting way of looking at things.

It could go unsaid that i made nearly 3k originally off of $20 borrowed, paid back with 50% interest. I'm not exactly bumming about starting with $300 this time. I enjoy the game enough to be relatively pleased(only "Relative" because i was forced to make this choice after dropping one thousand dollars.) that i can play it all summer.(well, unless i went broke of $300.)

I'm not really worried.

I -did- win two hands in a row a few minutes ago. First in awhile. I think i made a whopping $6.

That's all for now.
