Late-Night Ramblings
Browsing through my (numerous) bookmarks, I quickly realized it's been almost a whole year since my last posting, and so much has happened since then, I can't possibly include it all in one posting...and no, I won't try, either. :-P
It's quite a mind-job to think how quickly we can fall into the mundane and get lost in the petty aspects of life, and dealing with financially irresponsible roommates certainly helps in that process. I never thought I'd see myself moving twice in one year, but I'm glad to be living by myself again...now I can concentrate on prepping for Dragonfest.
Aaaahhh, Dragonfest. This being my 4th year, it's quickly becoming my New Year's celebration. I find it difficult to put into words what regular 'fest goers inherently understand; perhaps it's my tired mind or it's the nature of the festival that makes people revolve the focus of a year around it...but I digress. At this point, I don't know what my intention will be this year, but making a quick mental scan of the past 12 months, I think it'll involve getting back to my self in some way/shape/form.
Just these past few months have been pretty tumultuous, I'd almost forgotten how calming organic music is...just the thought of participating in a drum circle makes me drool like a man that's been lost in the desert when he sees a canister of fresh water.
Well, my mind's being taken upon the mesmerizing waves of Kan'Nal, so until next time...
