Get Schooled - Richard "Mazeriti Rick" Carter
Heres a little info i have found a gangster from detroit (talkin 7mile and down) who is burried in ELMWOOD cemitary, with cheif pontiac and more famous people from detroit.
a notorious drug dealer who ordered for himself a $16,000 coffin with a Maserati grill and four tires, although the grill and tires had to be removed for burial
*Richard "Mazeriti Rick" Carter
*RIP - 1989 - detroit's Grace hospital - shot to death in hospital
*Burried in a $16,000 casket made to look like a mazeriti - including grill and 4 tires
*Founder - "Best Friends" - detroit crack gang in the early 70's - 90's
*Maserati Rick Carter was shot and killed as he recouperated from another shooting in September of 1988 in a Detroit hospital. Following Carter's death, the first person the Carter family contacted was Demetrius Holloway who soon thereafter arranged his own abduction.
*Carter and Holloway's (carters best friend/co-founder of "BEST FRIENDS") murder was believed to have been ordered by Big Ed Hanserd another Eastside drug dealer who was known to have been a rival of Holloway and Carter.
this might not interest anyone else, but seince i am around the areas where these things have gone down sometimes, its kinda cool to me. + its cool to know about the crazy shit that used to go down in detroit.

i also used info from my friend Nick V. who went to a prison tour and learned more about him there along with doing some research on mazeriti rick and if you listen to songs by ESHAM (my favorite rapper/rapper from 7mile) you will hear references to Mazeriti rick and his partner Holloway and many other detroit mobsters/gangsters.
this took me 2days to compile together.
