[At the scream, Okuu had practically come running--and hopping and flapping and crashing into things--before skidding to a stop next to Koishi, cawing insistently all the while.

[Koishi flinches a little at Okuu's mental barrage. She looks up after a minute, though, and tries to offer the raven a smile.]

I... I'm fine, really!

[Okuu's thoughts quiet--a little bit.]

You don't sound fine!

[She's still all puffed up, as if she was going to attack this thing that was causing Koishi distress. It was some outside force, right?]

[Nope, not an outside force at all. It was a certain appendage hovering over Koishi's heart, staring right at the raven.]

... Okay, I'm not. But... I will be. I think.

[...oh. Now she notices the eye. Okuu deflates a bit, clacks her beak at it--and then tilts her head.]
