An Eventful Weekend...
Wow, I can't believe what all has gone on this weekend. Friday night I went with my old Bible Study group to a coffee house and we listened to some hardcore Christian bands. That was the weirdest thing I've ever heard, but we had fun. We mostly chilled in the coffee house part instead of the concert part of the place and played cards and talked, caught up with each other.
Saturday I got up early and went to Key Club. That was pretty boring, though I guess I did have fun talking to Chris and Laura, so yeah it was fun. While I was at key club I got the biggest shock of my life. Eric Willoughby from Drum Major camp is going to be the Band Director at Peachtree Ridge. Eric btw was an instructor not a kid just in case you were wondering :-p. Since District Honor Band I've been miserable in band because of having a good director and stuff, well now I can. Eric is incredible. I have to start calling him Mr. Willoughby though! Ack! That's hard. So yeah, I'm going to Peachtree Ridge. I love and will miss all of you, but it's not like I'm moving, just schools so we can still see each other!
Saturday night Chris came over for several hours and played guitar. That was loads of fun. I kinda needed it after the completely emotional day I'd had. I started out all happy, then it hit me what it meant that I was going and so I'd been back and forth all day.
This morning I got up and went to church. Church was ok. My youth minister who was supposed to preach and be in charge of music woke up ralphing this morning so it all got thrown together at the last minute. All things considering thought, church was great. I then went to lunch, came home and have been working on this stupid Hawthorne paper ever since. So yeah, should get back to that...
