Karen McFadyyon also wrote a sequel to Mating Rituals, called Mating Rituals 2 (coincidentally enough). While her stories are no longer online, she apparently does allow people to share copies saved to their hard drives.

I'd be happy to share them with anyone who wants - just drop me a line.

Oh, and do you already have the cover for Mating Rituals? It's a cute little picture of an Adelie penguin with a pebble in its beak. If not, I can send you that too. I am not certain who made it, though - my best guess is Karen herself, but if anybody knows otherwise, I'm glad to defer to them.
