I've been here all week with brief excursions to discrete friend's houses and distant family. the friends I do have are tied down to children and/or they've gone, or are going. Others are distancing themselves from me and frankly, I can't wait to leave either. What's the point in keeping a worthwhile friend if you're going to leave anyway, right?
