wow. i haven't written in this thing in ages. i haven't really had the need to anyways. i don't think anyone reads this thing which makes me a little bit more secure about writing what i feel.
college isn't everything i expected it to be.
i thought i was going to actually be a lot more complicated than it has been.
more finals, exams, notes, work...
i actually have NO finals, some exams (but not as many as i thought), some notes, and yes, there is some work involved.
i have met some really cool people.
my room mate, Kathia, is a sweetheart. we seem to have a lot in common and a lot to talk about. we have a lot of the same friends also. other than amanda who i have obviously known since high school, i have met some really awesome people.
i have met Eleni, Patricia, Kathia (obviously), Martine (whos my RA), Daryl, Djimmetri (another RA), Lauren x2, Danielle...and a lot more people.
at first, i won't lie, i was really home sick. i wanted to see my family and my boyfriend constantly. then i remembered that i will see them weekends and i will see sean whenever i want really. it hasn't been that bad of an experience so far. i actually really love it here. it's great to be away from home. i get to go to bed when i want, meet new people, do my own work at my own pace, get some coffee if i wanted...
