what's your job? i'll be going to luther seminary (it's luthern, duh, but you don't have to be luthern to go there. which is good, since i don't even go to church) for the theology, and augsburg college for the social work piece.

i'm doing my masters apprenticeship at his theatre in chelsea. i seem to be the only person in michigan who has a job (well, a lot of people have jobs, but more people seem to not)........

my great aunt is buddies with either the catholic archbishop or cardinal of st.paul/minneapolis. he kinda freaks me out.

what aspect of theology will you focus on?

well, my training has been and, at luther, will continue to be in christianity. i'm particularly interested in spirituality as both an aspect of survival and as a revolutionary force (in individuals and society). the seminary i'll be going to is great, and very excited about having people from all different faiths study there, and have no problem that i'm not affiliated with a church or denomination, and barely affiliated with christianity anyway. they're very anti-preachy, which i really like.

I decided to stop in at lj and see what's going on. I noticed a new friend in my list and, what do you know, it was you. I hope all is well within your world.

Hopefully all flattering ::smirks:: Nope, left Michigan almost three years ago now. I've been busy with work and school, but things are really good.

Yeah, I don't know what prompted my return to lj, but when I saw you I couldn't help but to write.

So I want all the goods, fill me in on what you've been up to...
