(no subject)
So I really should be finishing up some poster i have to do on world diseases (what?! psh.) but this episode FLOORED me and i have to write about it before i forget anything.
SPOILERS FOR 2.03 AHEAD! AHOY MATEY.
First of all let me just say that Dean was totally looking at me in that end scene. Totally. Our eyes connected. There was a deep bond. I swear. Soon he'll be inviting me over to, you know, research cases. Mhm. "research."

I want to just mention this right now, that I LOVE the direction this show is heading. It's evolving so much from the first season and I love it and Kripke is my hero and I need icons of Dean's faces NOW thankyouverymuch. This episode just sealed it for me because I was kind of leery about another vampire ep and not too excited (although anything with my boys in it makes me happy, i just wasn't jumping up and down as high as normal,) and after watching it I just wanted to hug something or maybe have them hug each other. IT'S NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK, IS IT?!?!?!
Okay, and, yay opening music! They totally played that in the pilot. *is a geek* and yay new impala. Dean in a good mood makes me smile. Their banter is SO AMAZING this season and especially in this episode. I really, really enjoyed it.
It's kind of sad how Dean was so excited about the hunt, and kind of impossibly adorable, and I can't tell which I love more. What I do know is that the line 'remind me to beat that buzzkill out of you later" (written down so I wouldn't forget it) is my new favorite line ever and I will be using it regularly in everyday conversation. just to warn everyone. HOW AMAZING WAS THAT. I swear Kripke is tuned into the private fangirl line. Except for the part concerning hugs. I LOVE YOU KRIPKE! *little heart sign*
Anyway, Gordon's kind of creepy and ONLY DEAN'S ALLOWED TO CALL ME THAT almost made me fall over and Dean hitting Sam sent me into convulsions but you already knew that.
The last scene had me making a complete fool out of myself in front of my neighbor who I think really does think I'm kind of batty and I brought over my little model of a 1967 white Camaro WHICH IS THE CLOSEST I COULD GET TO THE IMPALA OKAY? and and and.. so the car! and them. leaning on the car. i think i forgot to breathe. Dean looks at Sam and there is LOVE and there is BROTHERS and Dean admitting to Gordon that he has to keep up a face for Sam and just everything. I loved this episode so much and if this season keeps getting better as exponentionally as it is right now I don't think I will survive Christmas because the happiness will just be too much.
I actually managed to be coherent today! *proud*
