Launch Weekend
So, i went to Virginia Tech last weds. to pick up ramage and forgot he was planning on camping out for the PS3. so i join him, just for a bit - i was not about to sleep outside target in the freezing cold. there were over 250 people lined up outside prepared to wait til 9am the next morning. It was insane. luckily they spared me the drama and had a drawing and ramage didn't get one. so the next day we headed on back to Northern Virginia and did nothing but come saturday night he was prepared to camp out for the Nintendo Wii. He wanted to get it at costco though, and in case no one knew the Wii's supply was not expected to be as ridiculously bad as the PS3 so we thought perhaps no camp out will be necessary. Indeed it was not. But we did have to go back and check twice during the night to be sure. And we drove across the street to Best Buy and there were people just sleeping outside the store and literally down the street, hardly a 3 minute walk was circuit city with NO ONE outside. not a one. when we drove by at 1am we actually witnessed the first camper at circuit city. we showed up at costco at 5am and it was too early, the line didn't even start until 8:30, regardless, he did get a Wii and its amazing. I want one. Instead I got Final Fantasy III for my DS and will be content with that as i have no money to spare on a Wii. Then we saw one of the HOrror Fest movies, The Gravedancers. It was interesting. Also saw Happy Feet, it was amazing. Seriously. I heart that movie. Now I have to go to work and Ramage leaves tomorrow and on monday i have a persuasive speech and on weds a 6-8 page paper due and on the 4th a HUGE study guide due and i have not done any work on ANY of these. Hooray for procrastination.
