Field Trip
Um so coolest field trip ever. You see, we ferried over to Vancouver to go to the Storyeum, Science World and the Imax. After the Imax we started heading back to the ferry terminal on the bus, and Ms. Kucher stood up and said "As far as we know all of the ferry sailings are cancelled for the rest of the evening because of weather conditions, however we're going to the terminal because it's the only place we know we can go."
So, arrive at the ferry terminal and have to wait inside the bus for about half an hour before we get a confirmation that the last sailing is definately cancelled. Then we learn that there are NO rooms in any hotels in Vancouver. Ms. Kucher phones non-emergency police, Mr. McCallion (spelling?), a bunch of hotels etc. Soon we find out that there is a hotel in Richmond, a crap Accent Inn, that has enough rooms for 65 people. So, we head over to the second part of the ferry terminal to get dinner because a lot of us are extremely hungry. We had immense trouble getting over there, if you started running the intense wind wouldn't let you stop. Two guys fell down in mud, there were some ruined shoes, and poor Ina dropped her cell phone and they had an insanely hard time finding it, luckily it works still.
Anyways, we finish dinner then go back to the bus and head to the hotel. We wait for about 20 minutes in the little foyer type thing outside and then we all get assigned rooms, but we're allowed to choose who we're with. I was with Vivian, Jess and Kelly. Whoa crap fun time. So the trip made me hate Jen 23947983405 x more than I used to though. She's seriously such a slut-whore.
Other than her the whole trip was awesome, but the bus and the hotel were probably the best parts, and then the ferries. Holy crap the storyeum was so retarted, I had no idea what was going on half of the time. I don't recommend going there. At all.
Whoa almost forgot! Best part was when Kelly and I went for a walk (teachers were retarted and we weren't supposed to leave our rooms), and Ina came to her window and invited us into their room. So about a minute later there's a knock on the door and I suspect it's Jess maybe wondering where we are. I go to the door and look through the peep-hole thing and I saw Ms. Kucher standing there and I was like "Ohhh shit!" and then Kelly hid under the covers and Val and I went into the bathroom. They let Ms. K inside and when they asked where Val was Ina said "Oh, she had another one of her spaz attacks, she's in the bathroom" and then she came to the bathroom door and knocked and she said "Val, are you okay?" and Val said (sounding sickly) "Yeah, I just needed to use the washroom." and then she left. Whoosha that was close. Then about 10 minutes later we booked it down the outside hall and tried to open the door with the card and then the card wouldn't work and whoacrap it was scary. But we got inside all safe and sound.
All in all, it was an awesome trip.
