I see that my own absence from the interwebs from Sunday afternoon till, well, now (didja miss me?) coincided with a massive lj outage. So I'm assuming I didn't miss anything. Except that a lot of people now have dreamwidth accounts. I have one too, but I've forgotten the password.

We had a broken router which was a comedy of errors to replace. Actually it was more like an accumulation of stupidities. I will not go into detail. But, the new modem is here and working fine, and I am back online.

Yay!

Let's see ... I am thinking of changing my lj name. Here are some possibilities:

1. murakami_sekai a blanket tribute to all the Murakamis (Haruki, Takashi, Ryo, Ryu)
2. after_the_quake  seems kind of self-explanatory, no? But also Murakami related
3. str8_no_chase a line from M-flo's "Let Go" which always sticks in my head for no good reason
4. thinking_lotus to match the dreamwidth account I've forgotten how to access.,

I guess I should check to see if any of these are taken before I ponder this any further.

Does it seem like I'm addicted to underscores? Is there an alternative?
