I totally devoted my life to marathoning Pride over the past few days. Now I think I have visual indigestion.

Not that I didn't enjoy it, mind you. It was totally delish, filled with sexy KimuTaku and other J-actors (including one of my favorites, Tanihara Shosuke) and also some pretty good roles for women, which kind of surprised me, because initially I thought a dorama about a hockey team was going to be totally testosterone-filled.

Which it was of course, but in a positive way. I didn't feel (quite) beaten over the head with the idea that men are strong physically but weak mentally and emotionally, or that the women were vice versa. I was pleasantly surprised by this, and also somewhat reminded of why I do like men, on the whole. Though pro athletes are not my type.

OTOH, as I said to mcchica on twitter earlier, I want to marry KimuTaku! Well, maybe in my dreams ;-)

Next up: Hero, I guess. Though I won't be able to slurp it up nearly as quickly as Pride, I've got a busy week ahead and I'm going away for the weekend. Though, I may take my laptop ... there will be wifi there, and probably someplace to plug in (my battery is fried and I've never got around to getting it fixed or replaced).
