SNOWMAGEDDON!!!
I came home last night ~7 pm and there was about 2" of slush on the ground (it had been snowing all day, but not much accumulation). About 10 pm looked out the window because son said there was blizzard. Saw lots of white stuff flying around, but assumed that it was just stuff already on the ground whipped up into the air. Schools chancellor had already announced twice that schools would be OPEN on Friday, dammit!
Awoke this morning to 10" of snow, nothing plowed, phone ringing wildly to let us know WORK IS CLOSED! SCHOOL IS CLOSED!
So, yay, Tom got his wish. And I get to stay home, and try another tea from my TiKwanYin sampler, and possibly nap.
