I'm happy.
I didn't wake up happy, but I achieved happiness through going to work out, having a shower, doing some other things I had to do, taking a nap, and installing a shelf in the kitchen (yes, it is a shelf I bought at Ikea in February or maybe March, but at least it's on the wall NOW).
Later tonight I am going out dancing with my friend Au. It is the Classic Soul Rhythm Revue Dance, 70s version. I hope he plays some P-Funk, cause I love me some of that.
I have to decide what to wear. I could wear a purple-print knit skirt with a camisole and a crocheted cardie. I could wear a silver lamé tunic with a straight knee-length denim skirt. Or I could wear a vintage-esque printed half-slip style silk skirt (also knee length) with a tank top.
With the first two I would wear silver ballet slippers, with the 3rd a pair of gold heels. I woudl have the same makeup with all 3 (sparkly eyeliner + mascara and berry-ish lips, basically).
It's really humid and verging on raining out (and has been raining on and off all day). I should probably wear as little as possible, right? But I am not 12, I am a respectable married woman.
But I am thinking the silk skirt might be the most practical. But I want to wear the silver shoes! (the skirt has metallic gold printed on it).
Also, everyone must watch Black & White, it's totally worth your time.
Here's a pic of a few (non-famous-idol) cast members.
L to R: It's the guy who plays military assassin (don't know character's name), Ivy Chen (Chen Lin), Mark Zhao (Wu Ying Xiong) and in front, possibly the girl who plays the cute police woman (not sure ... I also don't know why they appear to be on an airplane)
I can't remember where I stole this from, it was posted somewhere in support of the idea that Ivy Chen & Mark Zhao are dating. Which they could be, I guess.
