Ep 7 of Code Bleu
Non-stop thrills and chills!
This week on code blue: we finally get to hear Saejima the nurse's story and it's totally confusing and doesn't make much sense and also reveals her as kind of an awful person. At least in my opinion. But, then, I'm the type of person you'd probably want to be engaged to if you suddenly contracted a wasting disease that was going to kill you off before you turned 30.
Ryo's side story was resolved equally (un)dramatically. She may go off to the South Seas to be a dr in a tropical paradise, where nobody blames her for a few mishaps. I'm not going to get into her rationale for the emergency section, because as a woman, I found it kind of offensive.
It was Erika's turn to be light in the rotation. I hope she had fun getting pedicures and going to onsen.
Dr Perfect made a strong declaration of total self-centeredness that reduced Saejima to sobs at the thought of her own equivalent awfulness. But then he redeemed himself by allowing his ba-chan to eat with her fingers.
Shiraishi (I think that's her name) is learning to be a girl from a post-op transsexual.
Dr Curly was his usual angel/devil self. By which I mean he made stupid remarks but meant well. Or something.
Next week: Tragically adorable pediatric patients. Somebody important loses a hand! Or do they?
I wonder if I can try lying down yet?
