I took a nap

Wai, doing the podcast was fun but kind of exhausting. I don't know how the regulars manage it every week, it's a LOT of work. But they are so cute! (well, YOU are so cute since you are probably reading this). I mean, I hardly did anything but talk, but they do a lot more than that.

It's hard to get the rhythm right, and figure out when to break into conversations and insert your witty observation. I couldn't hear myself through my headphones so I was thinking that nobody could hear me either. Also I forgot at first that I could wiki things, so I kept asking dumb questions during the news segment, but hey. Maybe that will be of benefit to other people.

We didn't get to talk about Jun's clothing, eyebrows, or hair while discussing KwP! Nor the bizarre karaoke for the ending song--it seems to have been done phonetically and then approximated into japanglish. [Digression: I once did a writing exercise in college where we read a poem in a different language (that we didn't know) and then wrote another poem that was a "translation." I had a hard time because all the romance languages seemed too transparent and I couldn't think of any other languages written using the roman alphabet but then my friend came up with Hungarian (her father is Hungarian) so that worked great.]

Anyway, the karaoke kind of reminds me of that.

Afterward I was sooooo sleepy but I had to wait for the grocery delivery and when he came he'd forgotten a few things and said he would come back with them but then he didn't (I fell asleep waiting but P assures me that the doorbell didn't ring).  Although in the past they've come back again on Sunday or given me a credit, so I'm not too worried.

I'm kind of excited to be going on the Fort Greene house tour tomorrow. It's such a mature pleasure.
