Cream Starter is a corporeal Stand, meaning that it is always present and visible; it manifests as a metallic canister she carries in a holster at her hip. As a Stand, only Stand users can strictly see its use. Those with various psychic or supernatural ability may be able to sense things such as duality of soul/spirit, a transfer of energy, or other vague notions of the nature or existence of the Stand.
The basis of the Stand is what she calls the "Meat Spray": A fleshy substance sprayed from the top of the canister and used for various purposes. It is frequently used on others. Uses in canon are as follows:
- Against Gyro Zeppeli and Johnny Joestar ("The True Man's World"), she reveals that it can be used to cover or smother people's face and orifices with a fleshy patch. It can also be used to remove or capture their body parts. - Against Ringo Roadagain ("The True Man's World"), she reveals that Cream Starter's spray can be concentrated into a stream that can cut flesh and bone. - Against Ringo Roadagain ("The True Man's World"), she reveals that the Stand can absorb her body parts, and then be re-sprayed either onto her body or independently of it. - After the fight with Ringo Roadagain, Johnny Joestar uses Cream Starter to patch up his and Gyro's wounds. Her Stand can be used by others--an exception to the Stand rules. - Assisting Lucy Steel ("Tubular Bells"), she reveals that the Stand can create disguises using its fleshy substance as a base. When the person whose face it is sprayed upon touches the person whose face they want to take, their scent and appearance is transferred to the user of the patch. If they remove this patch, their own scent goes with it and can be placed on another person. The patch can also attach to the second person. This is later used to disguise the corpse of Scarlet Valentine, as well. - Assisting Lucy Steel ("Tubular Bells"), she reveals that objects can be trapped under the fleshy patches to be dispersed at will per her directions. - Against Mike O. ("Tubular Bells"), she reveals that her Stand can be used to completely dissolve her body aside from the larger Corpse Parts in order to travel through limited spaces. It is also used in this manner to transport the corpse of Scarlet Valentine from the scene of her death. Her body parts can also be detached without use of the canister directly spraying the part to be moved. The Stand can also be recalled to her without direct contact. - Against Mike O. ("Tubular Bells"), she reveals that her Stand can act from inside people in various ways, combining the previous effects to cause her Stand to be absorbed into Mike O.'s skin, giving it the same misshaping and melting qualities as her own; it can infiltrate through skin and air if her own melted body parts are scattered or damaged. His head is exploded from internal pressure he creates by blowing up his Tubular Bells balloons.
