Hello there, old friend.
I have not been around here in years. It has been a pretty crappy couple of years but there has also been some amazingly good moments too. Sometimes I forget about the good time because I am so focused on all of the losses. I may go into more detail eventually but I just had an urge to pop on here and say Hi. I have been wanting to get back to journal writing but I have been too lazy. And of course life has constantly thrown curve balls so that has made it difficult to get the focus and energy to actually do more than think about it. This first, short entry will be my attempt to get back into it. I miss the days of being on here frequently and keeping updated on my friends and what is going on in their lives. I know there is always Facebook but while that is fun, it seems more superficial. Here on LJ, there was a deeper connection, I feel.
Maybe this will be my one and only post and I won't ever come back. I have a lot of good intentions that never come to fruition. However, I think LJ would be good for me to get back into.
I am actually surprised that I recalled my username and password. Haha.
Well... you may see me again here soon, or you may not. I am not even sure if anyone is even around here these days. I will have to take a peek at my friends page and see when last anyone was around. Maybe it is a complete ghost town. I wouldn't be surprised.
