yeah, its symbolism, p'raps you've heard of it? you know, a "song", as is "a pre-arranged combination of words set to an aurally pleasing but otherwise useless melody, not meant to be interpreted as fact" for a "dance," as in...well you can guess. it's an indictment of the societal strictures that require people to "sing" to eachother before they dance to prevent being labeled as promiscuous.

and yes, i know it's bad. shut up. i thought of it while taking a shit one day.
