[When Raymond Perkins comes in, he smiles brightly.] Guns? Really? Then no one will need to worry! [Isn't that just great? He'll remember that, should it become needed.]

[Slater smiles at the enthusiasm.] My good sir, I have anything a gentleman like yourself could need!

[He looks shocked.] I wouldn't want a gun, myself. What if I accidentally shot someone? [The horror! Besides, he's got his own stashed back home.]

That's what training is for, my man! [He replies without missing a bit.] But what brings you here?

But what if I shoot someone during training? Ah, whatever. I need food!

That's the trainer's fault! [He smiles and waves his hand over his wares. Beans and dried meats, along with some eggs and bread.] What would you care for, sir?

[shortsghtedlove]

They'd hold me responsible, I fear. [And he's hardly in a position to make the authorities notice him.] Well.. [Everything!] I'd like some of that meat. And eggs. Especially eggs. I'm all out of eggs, would you believe that? Oh, and beans. Do I need bread? [He ponders that for a long moment.]. ...I think I still have some. So no bread.

[Slater is happy to oblige and fetches the goods from the shelves, placing them on the counter and totting them up.] That'll be [that amount].

[Ray nods cheerfully and hands over a bit more than that.] 'S all right like that. [He likes Slater. And he's generally inclined to be more generous to people he likes.]

[Slater smiles at the extra payment.] Pleasure to serve you, sir.

[He grins back.] Well, good day, sir!
