Okay I just need to get this out of my system. The only thing that annoys me more than sloppy reporting is sloppy history. Ergo:

The US is fighting a war in Afghanistan. Not Somalia. OR Vietnam.

I admit, now, to my like of Norman Mailer. (Regarding the Vietnam War, obviously.) I just like him. Straight up.
