The vintage clothing sale hosted by the Fashion Association was yesterday, so I went, because there's always really awesome stuff there, ja? And I got this jacket that has to be US Army, because there's literally the symbol with the eagles, the arrows, the olive branch and the stars -- you know, the thing on the dollar bill? -- on every single button. And I don't know nearly enough about the Army so I couldn't tell you which branch of the military this is from (yes, I know it's a misnomer to say Army LOL since there are branches and they're not all ARMY, but), but there's a patch with a symbol on the left shoulder.
The funny bit is I'm wearing it today, so I checked the pockets and there are cigarette butts in them. THREE. THREE CIGARETTE BUTTS.
I am dying of awesome and hilarity right now due to this.
There was also a tag with a pin bearing this: 1940's 85.79a Zarse [?]
