something tilted

grand rapids, whose
rapids are so huge.
my time here has been spent rapidly.
some days i got things squared away.  today i played a lot of basketball and lifted dumb bells, so i guess my body's squared away.  my laundry is clean and either hanging or mostly folded and out of sight, my minimal grocery supply is re-stocked, dishes are clean, vague ideas are erased, thoughts about what is real are being collected, summer is ready to be filled in with fun and things i like.

bad example: im giving a talk at rose-hulman on tuesday in order to secure a job i dont want.  here's the abstract, mostly re-used from two years ago:
In this talk I will introduce the field of graph theory, with a focus on Hamiltonian graph theory.   If you've never heard of graph theory, it looks something like connect-the-dots.  It is basically the study of connections, the modeling of relationships.  We will talk a lot about finding cycles within graphs, and then about using forbidden things.

i hope that's okay.  well not really, i mean just look at it.  its fine and it doesnt even need to be.  i have several other interviews coming up and this one's not near the top of my list.  other than that, im just sitting here typing this.  i think im great at stating the obvious.  a straight-shooter, a cowboy.  nothing wrong with them, right.  they do what needs to be done, use a rope and hay and other similar items, and tell it like it is.  that's like me.

the world is like a beachball but it's also like a trillion beachballs, which is nothing like a beachball.  pe-chooew, pe-chooew

alright, see ya later
