The last month and a half...

The last month and half has been interesting at the least. We have been enjoying the whole being engaged glow and have settled down into a sort of routine. I'm spending an exorbitant amount of time with B, which is good.

We've gone through the next stage of things, which was the introduction of the parents. That meeting went exceptionally well. It's not so hard to concieve since our parents are pretty much the same. My folks were impressed with the fact that they were both teachers and farmers. Since my grandfather was a professionally educated farmer, and my mother was a teacher, it wasnt hard to see how my mom and aunt saw things that they could relate to. B's family liked my family as well, they saw how much I looked like my mother and they were equally impressed with the family pedigree as well. So the next step is figuring out what to do about getting married.

It really looks like B and I will do a Justice marriage and then do a ceremony to appease the family. We've got a consensus about saving big for an awesome honeymoon and putting in enough to have a nice ceremony and party. We are thinkng of something about a Fall wedding.

On random notes, saw the Iron man movie twice and I thought that it was freakin awesome. Am really excited about the hulk movie and B and I will catch it when she gets back from her Iceland trip.

More random notes, I've always been interested in Poi, and I've decided to really put more effort to learn how to do that. I've purchased a couple of dvds and have started to practice with the streamer pois that I have. I have a couple other sets coming in the mail soon, and I hope to put in some good time learning how to swing them. I'm hoping that this will help increase my flexibility and help my shoulders gain strength while not aggravating my injured tendons.

Big news, my bro is going to b returnign to the states in a couple of weeks and will be on a nice block leave for a month. He'll be training again in AZ for a bit and then transferred to ft meade hopefully. Cross your fingers.
