the aftermath
well it is a few days after christmas and i am here sucking down soy nog wondering where my books from the library are. i got my packet mailed off and it was a great stress reliever. it was nice to have the holidays off. but i am now busily working on my next book. it looks promising. of course they all start out that way, don't they?
i made out like a bandit for christmas. sweeteclaus was good to me. i got tetris and the new buffy game for the x-box. i got lord of the rings, the matrix reloaded, and the lion king on dvd. i also got the cat in the hat and green eggs and ham cartoons on dvd. sooooo very kewl. i got the dixie chicks "home", limp bizkit's newest one, sheryl crow's greatest hits and the white stripes elephant" cds. i got an ass load of candy that i will never be able to eat all of. and some smelly very good candles. i love smelly good candles. and the kewlest thing, a lava lamp. it's got a black stand and purple water and yellowish goo. it is as kewl as i thought it would be to have one. i have always wanted one and now sweetie claus got me one and i am thrilled. it does the coolest things. we put it in the bedroom for a night light and we both stare at it all the time... good for me. i also got this really neat pooh puzzle that is made of tiny pictures of different pooh things that make up a big picture. it is going to kill us to put together, but it is neat.
well that's the tally. sweetie just made phenominal money going back to friday's and we wanted a good christmas so. i got her some really nice things as well. i think she liked the harry potter book best although she has had headaches and can't read it. she really liked the cd bathroom radio that does everything but pick her nose. and the pendant and earings were a success. i was worried they weren't "her", but she liked them. they are kinda antiquey looking.
i need to clean up my stuff as it is all over the house. school books everywhere. papers al over my desk area. and they are of course breeding. and my christmas presents all over. note to self... after tonights reading must clean...
i am listening to "now that's what i call christmas" cd and it's a johnny mathis song... is he gay? he sounds gay...
it is cold. i am cold. it was TEN degrees in albuquerque today and we are thirty miles away and in the mountains and it is colder here so only god knows how cold it was here. ten degrees? that is so wrong i can't even begin to get into it. i live in the southwest where it is supposed to be warmer. 10 degrees...
i need to start burning mp3 cds for trip to vermont in april. now that i have a cd player that plays mp3's, i can burn cd's to use for the trip with more music but less space taken up. i got all 9 madonna cd's i have onto one cd. very neet. but if i don't start now, o won't be ready when i am to go. i have over 250 cd's, so i have my work cut out for me. i know that i don't need all of them to take with me, but i am very musically oriented and need music for every mood. it makes me sane and that is always good. so i want as many of my cd's as possible. besides i have a new pack of fifty pretty colored ones. goody me.
well i really need to get some sleep as i have an assload of reading to do.
