two tv shows you should probably not watch together
Lately I have watched two tv shows: Psych and Dexter. They are eerily similar sometimes!
I was previously excited about Dexter, even though my tolerance for shows that have anything to do with cops or criminals (and esp. serial killers) is usually slim to none. Unless the cops are aliens or the criminals are in space or something. But what I used to like about it was the presence of many chromatic characters and many lady-shaped characters who were awesome, and the surprising lack of torture porn for a show about a serial killer. But then season four was like, "know what we need on this show? More white people, more torture porn, and more manpain!" Which made it kind of plummet in my affections. I dunno. I watched 501, and I was like, I do not even care. I do still adore Deb and LaGuerta and Battista, but don't know if I'm going to go on watching it.
HOWEVER, if you have Dexter/Miguel fic from circa season three, I would happily read it. Jimmy Smits: my goodness.
Anyway, watching Dexter immediately after catching up on Psych made me ponder a question. The question I pondered was this one:

I considered putting John Winchester on there too, but frankly John Winchester has nothing on Henry or Harry, even though he too trained his kid(s) to fight crime/kill monsters. At least he was fucked up and grieving; it seems that Henry and Harry's only excuse for treating their kids like science experiments was that they were somewhat disgruntled.
