The Last Thursday in November
We had gorgeous weather here---blue skies, sunshine, fairly warm temperatures. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Had the big meal with my husband's family, and it was fine. No fights, no guilt trips, no weirdness. Helped bring my MIL's Christmas decorations out of the attic and clean up the disaster area that was the kitchen, then went out to visit my sis-in-law's horse. This is the same horse who grabbed a mouthful of my chest the last time I saw her. Guess what? She's still bosom-fixated! I managed to escape unscathed and with only a little bit of horse spit on my shirt this time. ;) Had a chance to play with a miniature horse (full grown, she's the size of a greyhound) who leaned against my legs and rubbed her forehead on my stomach. She was cute beyond words, y'all.
I am thankful for many things today. I might not ever have the chance to meet you kind folks who are in my flist in real life, but you are in my thoughts, and I count each of you as a blessing and a light in my life.
