[The communicator clicks on, and a swoosh can be heard as Kimbley throws the communicator in the air, followed by a dull thump of the communicator falling into his hand. This repeats over and over again, suggesting that the audio function was turned on by accident.]
…How peculiar.
I have no memories of my arrival, nor of any plans to go to this…rather dilapidated place. [He finishes the sentence with a scornful tone of voice.]
This certainly interferes with my previous engagements. I suppose I’ll have to make do with what’s available until I find a way to return home, as soon as this fog lifts.
[A pause, as Kimbley falls silent and continues to toss the communicator in the air.]
…I’ll have to secure shelter, food, and water, and then figure out how this contraption works. I’m sure it has to be of use if it was the only thing given to me upon my arrival here, which suggests that I was brought here by a person or group of people.
But how, and for what purpose?
Perhaps it is an experiment, but if they have the means kidnap someone without them being aware of it until after the fact, then it would have been more resourceful of them to put their efforts into restoring this city, rather than kidnapping…people. I highly doubt I’m the only one here.
Which means that this thing… [He stops tossing the communicator in the air, and it lands with a final dull thump in his hand.]...is possibly used for communication.
Hm.
Now, all that’s left is to figure out how to use it.
[And the audio feed finally times out.]
[ooc: ahah, backdated to before the mass monster attack, and uh. replies will be slow because I'm multi-tasking!]
