*Matt has been feeling weird, lately. Ever since he saw Mello fight with Near, he's just felt off. It shows in his appearance. Though he's not completely grey, he's been fading in color, his usual vigorous reds and blacks and whites dying down to dull monochrome colors. He hasn't smiled in days, and he's found he can't make fireworks appear anymore, or make his hair rainbow. That just depresses him further, when he finds out he isn't able to.
He's walking down the hallways, and when he finally reaches Near's doorway, he thumps his forehead against the door and leans there heavily, without a sound.*
