Yeah, Flaaffy's can generate their own electricity. No need to use carpets or anything. You can actually store electricity in your wool. It's just a matter of releasing it.
[OH. Maybe she should have read more on them, but gym leaders using that Pokémon were pretty rare and not the type of creatures Lash would openly pursue. At least until now.]

You could be able to. I'm not too sure how it happens since I'm not a Pokemon. But I think all you need to do is imagine using the electricity. Concentrate and you should be able to access it.
Admittedly no one had really petted and/or massaged Lash before it was like her body just gave in and she nearly fell over from the physical contact. But she did hear his words. Imagining lightning huh? Worth a shot.]
