Well, meh, my Valentine's is when Jen gets back

Feb 14, 2009 12:40

We're postponing it. Because Valentine's Day sucks when your fantastic gorgeous lover is not in the country.

I have zilch to do today. Plans are baking, fics, more baking, and movie. And maybe a trip down to the fair in town centre, but I really can't be arsed.

So I have a fic. A 300-word Anthrax/Ebola drabble. Unedited as of yet. Not Valentine's, because I just can't think of a Valentine's-y idea. And I'm not a sucker for romance, by any stretch. Give me kinky sex any day. Besides which, I picked the angst table.
And I finally have a narrative! I worked it al out when LJ was dead last night. (Why is it always dead when I'm actually on? When I was doing essay and I didn't have time to get on, I missed shedloads of hijacks, and now people actually seem to be going to bed :-( ) Bits of it might change, and I have an idea for a change already, but the first few should stay the same so I can at least get started. And the first chronologically just happens to be the only one I have written! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
*iz gonna not be the crazy cat lady any more!*

Also, I think Helen and Ellis might be away for the weekend. Which makes baking their cake a bit pointless. But if I don't do it today, I'll never have the time. How long does cake keep in the fridge?
I should know this. I'm a terrible baker XD
Also, tonight is pizza night. Because I haven't made one in ages. Pizza and A Tale of Two Sisters.

Speaking (I just typed 'speanking', which says something... Hello Sigmund!) of food, should I bring some savoury-type food to London as well as cake? I'm quite good at pizzas, and I also have recipes for vegetable samosas, two kinds of spring rolls (tho they use some slightly odd ingredients), onion bhajis, bruschettas and falafel (tho it'd probably be better just to buy some of that).

I have also found out from the infallible power of the internet that I am not underweight. Tho if I drop a stone I'm slightly screwed.

Well... this looks like it's going to be a productive day.
