Sorry I disappeared on Tuesday. The charger decided to pack up completely, and there was nothing I could do to get it working. I've taken it back to the shop, but since it had been damaged by the pressure I had to put on it to get it to connect, they said there was nothing they could do short of selling me a whole new charger, which they didn't want to do because they knew the same problem would happen again. They said they could adjust the power supply, but on this type of laptop (it's one of PC World's own, I think) the power supply is soldered t the motherboard, or something, so that would mean ripping the lappy apart, unsoldering the power supply, adjusting it, re-soldering it and putting it all back together. Apparently the cheapest I could get this done for would be about £140, which a)I cannot afford, and b)for a 2-year-old laptop, they said it wasn't really worth it. My dad says he'll buy me a new one and bring it up on Saturday, so I should have reliable internet by then.
This is especially shite because I've just realised one of my essays is due on Monday.
