Shiny Shiny
Caught my first-ever shiny Pokemon in Black ver! (It was a Boufallant). Weirdly enough, I had barely been paying attention (I multitask while training my team in the long grass, coz it gets tedious after awhile), so I randomly caught it and later when I checked through my PC, there it was, a shiny *.*
I'm at the stage right before the Pokemon League, and I realize I don't exactly have a solid team. I have particular Pokemon which have been in my team for a while now and are quite strong, but they aren't covered that well against all types. Up to this point, I've mostly been training all of my caught Pokemon to full evolution, not necessarily to use in battle (although a few have shown to be useful since then).
As far as the B/W games go, I haven't bought a Pokemon game since Crystal (I borrowed a friend's D/P and never played Ruby/Sapphire at all), so a lot of things have changed. I love that being Poisoned doesn't affect your Pokemon's health outside of battle, wtc. I'm liking the new Gen Pokemon okay, and it may just be me, but I felt like it was harder to establish a solid team in this one than in D/P. The graphics and angles are really great. It feels nice to own one of the games again, though. As always, I'm sure the sidequests and events are going to be enough to keep me busy for quite some time.
