34. Complete "Wreck This Journal"

I finally found it yesterday, hiding at the bottom of a drawer where I don't generally keep these sorts of things. I also found an unused sheet of stamps, so it was a pretty fortuitous adventure all around.

I worked on a few more pages, too. Most of the ones I have left require being outdoors.

61. Visit Grandma

This was my first Christmas with my family since 2002, and it was absolutely lovely. We had such a great time (and ate waaayyy too much delicious food). I wish it could have been longer. I love my Grandma.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is one of Ghibli Studio's earlier productions. Like most of Miyazaki's creations, it is basically an environmentally-friendly metaphor. In this case, humans somehow poisoned the forests, which caused the insects to become huge and hostile, and some of the people want to burn down the poisonous forest and others ( ... )
