Random Discussion
Because it's impolite to have them in the middle of the meme, but I don't really feel like going to the meme's post for it, and this way I can keep any random discussion threads I get into all in one convenient (for me) place.

One of the first sites that I found when looking at stuff was Those Who Ride the Lightning http://www.hyperborea.org/flash/ which is like a wiki devoted just to speedsters, people related to speedsters, and does it's best to sort of squish everything together and distill it into something vaguely linear and consistent for consumption. It sort of gave me a basic structure and heads up that everything else I saw was going to be part of the time honored pick out what you like and ignore the rest to create your own slightly denial based canon. (And looking at it again it might have helped if I would have remembered that site before now. Oh well.)
I don't know that I've seen the one with them taking Wally in (unless it was a de-aged Wally maybe?), but, after a bit of searching I did find a link to the Conner one I was talking about!

Superboy becomes seriously depressed with issues of self worth, and when Superman reacts particularly harsg during a mission YJ is helping with involving the Injustice League. Devastated he runs off and into a group of retreating villains, where he decides to do a suicide by villain deal telling them to kill him. Mirror Apprentice is in the group (waaaaayyyy against Captain Cold's wishes) and takes Superboy back to the hide-out to stop him from getting killed. It's wonderful, and complete, and if you haven't read it you totally should.
The fic I'm working on right now is called Runaway Child, and it is a YJ prompt. Wally is put in the foster system at a young age, and eventually, after several bad homes, is placed with the Wests, who truly become family to him. But when a fight at school threatens to take him away and put him back in a group home he does the only thing he can think of; he runs away.
When I picked up the prompt I was actually expecting it to be something like four pieces, and well, sixteen chapters and over 30,000 words in and there's still a good bit to go (but it is so close). And for a long time actually I wasn't sure myself how the story was going to end, but when I did reactions of people to KF being gone one of the scenes I did was the Rouges, and I'm a big fan of everything in a story being relevant in some way to the plot, and not doing something else with them would have left that whole part just dangling there like a hangnail, bothering the hell out of me every time I looked at it, which helped to shape it towards the ending it is now taking, with the last chapter and the next few having them play a large part. I'm actually kind of ridiculously proud of it for a couple of reasons, not the least being a, by all accounts from feedback, successful first chapter done in second person. Thanks for the link! I just finished reading the whole thing today~ It contained a lot of my favored head-canon! I really liked the way the issue with Superman was handled since I usually find stories that go for Superman doing a 180 (albeit slowly for some). It also made me ship Con/Hartley in a cutesy way =w=.
Ahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~ I forgot you're the author for "Runaway Child"! I even have you on story alert in FF.n~ It made me so happy when you involved the Rogues in that one part, and seeing that you're involving them more was a fist-pump moment for me :D. Selena being seductive and Hartley turning her down? So cool <3
